FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is your turn-around
time on impairment ratings?
We strive to
return all work to you as soon as possible, typically within one week
unless other arrangements are made. Reports can be completed on a STAT
basis, however this does incur additional STAT charges and rates.
How much
will I be billed for an impairment rating?
The cost of impairment ratings vary with several factors,
such as the number of body parts to be rated, the complexity of the
injury, and whether report review is included.
We charge a minimum standard rate for a report completed
in under an hour, and an hourly rate if the report takes
longer than an hour. The vast majority of our reports typically include
only one or two body parts and are
charged at the standard minimum rate.
What is your
turn-around time on record review?
Our typical turn-around time is two weeks, although in most cases we
can accommodate deadlines within a week depending on the quantity and
content of the records and the depth of review. Any record review requiring
completion in less than a week is subject to STAT rates.
How do we
get our records to and from your office?
As a service to you, we provide pick-up and drop-off service for a fee.
This varies according to your location and frequency of deliveries.
You may, as an alternative, have
your own staff perform this function.
What do you
need to do an impairment rating?
Typically, you would fax the information we would need to completethe
rating, such as the completed report with exam findings for which we
are doing the rating, operative
reports, the initial evaluation (if a Permanent and
Stationary Report), and the letter of request (if a QME,
AME, or supplemental report). Depending upon your preference, you can
email the completed report with the exception of the rating to us and
we can insert the rating directly into the report, or we email the rating
to you so
your staff can insert the rating.
What are
your rates?
While we do have a standard schedule of rates, these may vary depending
upon the type and volume of work requested.
